There was a community survey done in 1998 to ask locals what developments they would like to see happening in the town. Regrettably it could do with some editing and vital second part creation of a Community Development Plan was never implemented. However, on a more positive note two of the problems highlighted in the survey got addressed - need of taxi service and a laundrette. The link to is Community Profile
